Hi Resident,
More than £4.2m of stolen property recovered. 383 arrests made. Over 500 stop searches carried out.
Those are just some of the results delivered by Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce over the last 12 months as part of wider efforts to tackle rural crime across our communities.
Yesterday, the police, councils, farming organisations and partners from across the region came together to share best practice and strengthen the response to rural crime. You can find out more about yesterday's event by watching our YouTube Shorts clip, below:
Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Barber, continues to press for stronger measures to prevent theft, including the full implementation of legislation whilst also calling on manufacturers to do more to help protect valuable equipment from criminals.
